Learn how to knit a triangular shawl for winter – Thursday November 10th 2016

blue-shawl1Knitting a triangular shawl can seem very daunting. There seems to be a lot to master, from getting the pattern correct to managing lots of stitches – and that’s before anything goes wrong! Come along to this hands-on workshop and learn how to knit a shawl. We’ll teach the best methods for casting on and casting off and you will be able to ask any questions. We’ll provide you with a shawl kit with everything you’ll need to make your own beautiful shawl and, if you knit fast enough, it might even keep your neck warm this winter!

Anna and Karen are both lovers of knitted shawls and it seems to us that they are amongst the most enjoyable items that a knitter can make – warm, soft, look fantastic, make beautiful presents and importantly, can often be made with just one skein of yarn. This workshop will start at 10am – 4pm and there will be ample lunch, cake, tea and chat.

The cost of the workshop will be £85 including refreshments throughout the day, lunch and your goody bag. Places are limited to a maximum of 6.

To secure a place, we ask for a £35 deposit, which can be paid by debit or credit card over the phone, paypal or bank transfer. The remainder is payable on the day of the course. Please call Karen on 01547 530885 or email

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable if you cancel unless we are able to resell the workshop place.
